August PSW club lesson

For our August PSW club at Jenny's we explored "image possibilities" using the image to set the embroidery size. When you open an image you get a sizing screen. The size is determined in cm. I suggest you take a look at the large hoop size and make your image slightly smaller. As you can see, the large hoop would be about 14 X 24 cm.

Find your image or picture and open it. Make sure you hit the 3 dots to size the image.

Once the image was opened we used one of the built-in frames from the PSW library.

We then sized the embroidery design frame to fit the image. Make sure you center your design.

To print the image at the same size as the embroidery you will need a graphic program like paint shop pro to size and print the image of choice. We used colorfast printer fabric to make our finished picture. Fuse a bondable webbing to the picture back and then straight stitch it to the background fabric of choice. Next step is to center the picture in your hoop and embroider.
