Life goes on doing covid 19. I have had some interesting quilting and sewing classes doing this time. I am so lucky to have the sewing skills I do. They have proved a blessing for me.
Masks are required right now but I and my students are making the most of the time. After making 2 or 3 masks ( about 50 or 60) for family and friends I have hung up my mask making until I feel like making a few Christmas masks.
Here are pictures of Jenny (student) making a crab wall quilt on her new sewing machine. She was quilting and binding the finished product the day I took these pictures.
I also included a picture of a friend (Sandy) celebrating her 79th birthday at Going Nuts Cafe.
I hope you are finding some good ways to enjoy yourself doing this difficult time. Next Wednesday I will be having spine surgery and will be unavailable for at least a few weeks. Recovery can take up to 6 weeks, we will see. Hope it helps my walking ability. It is a giant leap of faith.
