Description

The candle wick flower is an embroidery file that is made from candlewick dots. These dots are pasted into the shape of a pedal. The petals are embroidered on 2 hooped layers of organza. You can copy and paste as many petals as will fit into one hooping. Embroider the petals and cut them out. Cut a small matching circle of felt to hold the leaves in place. Form the petals in a circle to form a flower. Stitch the inside ends of the petals to the circle using a straight stitch on your sewing machine. Decorate the center of the flower with a leafcandlesparkle button or a few crystals. Several flowers can decorate the top of a pillow for Christmas or you can sew a pin back to the flower to form a Poinsettia  pin.
