it looks like Beginner Sewing wins as the most popular class I teach at Jenny’s Sewing Studio in Salisbury, MD. Here is a happy student working on her apron. Debbie is learning to sew a gathered skirt. She was working so hard I had to share the moment. Her son bought her a sewing machine for Christmas and she is learning a new hobby in her retirement. I do not think Debbie will mind showing you her class.
The apron project really helps teach the how to of reading a pattern, cutting out the fabric, marking the fabric, hems, pockets, casings, facings, top stitching, under stitching, how to make a tie and more.
