Machine Embroidery

Learn to use your embroidery machine!

Machine embroidery is a fun and creative hobby. As a sewer you can choose an embroidery machine that will offer you lettering and small to medium design size. You can also buy machines that sew jacket backs and hats.

Designs can be built in or you can import them using the computer with a cord USB link or a USB stick that will store and transfer designs to your machine. Some older machines needed a card reader to transfer embroidery designs.

As a creator you can purchase a machine with software to edit, combine and digitize embroidery. I offer a one day seminar on the Singer Futura embroidery and sewing machine. The software that comes with this machine does basic layout and editing of embroidery. Learn the use of computer software to auto digitize, edit, photo stitch and do lettering. To see more Futura seminar information, use this link.

Prices can range from $500 to $10,000 or more dollars.

I have placed some links to pages to detail the use of machines and software. I hope they help you in your quest.

Have a question about a class or machine purchase? email me. Learn the basic design placement, stabilizer and thread information, design transfer and basic editing techniques of your embroidery machine in our 2 hour session.
