Well here is something on a personnel note and different from sewing.. My brother Jim drove my mom and I to Leesburg, Va for the most exciting wedding this past labor day. My nephew and Godson Michael was married to Shalini in a Hindu ceremony. I will share a few pictures of the event with you. I even got 2 Henna tatoos. It is funny, everywhere I go the young people want to see and talk about the tatoos…. The brides family gives all the female guests a gift and it was a pearl necklace. Here is the gift giver handing them out. It was a lovely weekend. Pictured are the bride and groom, my niece and her husband, the gift giver, and the Friedel family.
