My name is Jennifer Friedel and I am Jenny’s Sewing Studio! I have been in the sewing industry and have enjoyed teaching friends and students how to sew or sew better for over 40 years. I offer many different sewing classes “one on one” in my classroom studio. Beginner Sewers are always welcome and encouraged to continue growing with our classroom instruction. I can offer expert sewing, serger, machine instruction, and quilting classes by enrollment and appointment at 1030 South Schumaker Dr. in Salisbury, MD.
In 1972 I graduated from Radford University 
with a BS degree in Fashion Merchandising. That June I started working with Singer Co as an educator, trainer, merchandiser and later as a store manager. My background includes sewing machine sales and fabric sales. My parents and I owned and operated Jenny’s Sewing Studio as a brick and mortar store from 1982 till 2008. We first appeared on the internet in 1995 and still offer sewing products and instruction at www.jennys-sewing-studio.com (picture shows our opening newspaper photo from 1982)
Customers have enrolled in my classes from all over the United States, South America and Europe. I enjoyed meeting everyone from beginners students to potential fashion designers, to those wanting to learn embroidery software. I have presented classes to senior centers and to teenage sewers and Girl Scouts. Since my classes are one-on-one I can customize a class to fit most sewers needs.
