During the summer of 2014 Jenny has graduated several groups of brand new sewers. It has been great fun to see the interest in sewing as a craft. Jenny’s Sewing Studio offers a brand new 3 course introduction into sewing. First start off learning your sewing machine functions and learn the proper technique to thread, wind a bobbin and start using your machine in our 3 hour “Sewing Machine Basics class”. Next learn In “Beginner Basics” to make seams, pivot and create 3 projects as you grow more comfortable using the sewing machine. You will create a pin cushion, a zipper pouch, and a canvas tote to carry your sewing projects in. Next learn to purchase fabric and read and cut out a pattern and make an apron in “Beyond the Basics”. Finally you will be able to pick a basic garment and fabric and cut and construct it in a class called ” Continue Sewing”. I hope I see you in class. Here is our current sewing class schedule.
