The quilt is called “Strip Search”! Here is an easy, easy quilt and you can sew it all on your serger. We will provide the color way of your choice and the serger. You will provide the pattern and a border, batting and backing. Fee $49.95. Sharron Shulder is the instructor.

Serger Vest- Learn to make a lovely vest by serger using flat lock to strip piece. Do patchwork yokes and braided trim. Create a lovely motif of decorative serger stitches. See our in store display. Friday, January 19th from 10-5pm. Purchase your vest pattern for class. Beginning sewing– In this class we will be doing a pair of pull on pants, PJ bottoms or shorts. The  style will reflect minimum fit as you concentrate on learning basic sewing skills. 4 weeks of the basics with Jenny. Class will show you how to pick fabric and cut out your garment. Learn to use a pattern, select fabric, cut and mark. We will supply the pattern and the fabric and the sewing machine for your project. You will supply thread and sewing equipment like scissors, tape measure and pins. Fee is $69.95.  Machines will be provided. Singer “Sewing Essentials” book suggested. Enroll Now!

Messenger Bag! This class is for sewers of all skill levels. Have fun learning decorative quilting and stitch embellishment. Learn to insert a zipper the easy way. Make this great bag in one day. Our first class will be January 21st from 10-5pm on Monday (Martin Luther holiday). We will also offer a class on Saturday February 2nd. Any customer with an electronic sewing machine can take class. If you wish to add embroidery we will offer the option. Class includes materials kit, lunch and pattern in class fee. You bring thread and sewing supplies. $39.95 Enroll here!
Free Sewing and Quilt group sewing– Do you need help with a garment you started or home decor project that requires a little guidance?  Do you need help with a quilting project started in class? Want to sew with a group and meet new friends? This free sewing class is for you. We can supply the machines for this class too, so make a reservation to attend. 410-543-1212. We suggest you have attended at least one session of beginner sewing if you have no sewing skills.

Try it out before you buy?Here is a “free session†to try out the machine before you buy. What fun! We have designed a project for you to try on the serger, embroidery machine, and a machine that quilts to help you understand basic operation and features.
