Have fun trying our your new embroidery and sewing machine

At Jenny’s Sewing Studio we are creating a new Crazy quilt using the decorative stitches, embroidery and creative fabrics. We choose the BabyLock Elegante to create with but you can copy our idea with any embroidery and sewing machine.

Pick at least 6 to 8 coordinating prints and several solids to use for embroidery backgrounds. Our base background fabric was a black twill. Using a gold metallic thread we placed some embroiders in the midddle of the blocks. On one block we embroidered all the lettering styles. On another block we used the monogram, on another we used a script logo for Baby Lock. We experimented with the new border embroidery and created a border of decorative stitches on another block. One solid fabrics we created embroidery to show off the built-in designs. Once the pieces were embroidered we created unique crazy patchwork on each background. Once we finish the quilt a photo will be posted. Until then take a look at our finished blocks.
