My niece Laura is getting married!

This September my niece Laura is getting married. If you visited Jenny’s Sewing Studio in the early 1990’s Laura could be seen showing everyone the embroidery machines. Laura now lives in Blacksburg, VA with her soon to be husband Ron. Laura is a photographer and works for an engineering firm in marketing. Ron is also an engineer.

On August 4th we attended a shower for Laura given by Barbara and Renee Davis at the “Fountains” in Salisbury, MD. It was a beautiful affair and I even took pictures of the food to show you.

The big date is set for September 30th in Trappe, Maryland. Gifts have been made and embroidered of course! Her wedding gift with be a lovely framed wedding sampler which I planned and embroidered on the BMP6 Baby Lock professional. Mom and I also sergered and monogrammed napkin sets and towels with the couples last intial “M”. Last week completed the shopping and we purchased a dress for my mother for the wedding. It will be a big affair with 2 live bands, dinner and dancing and more. We are prepared to give Laura a big send off.
