Sewing Projects created at Jenny’s Sewing Studio

I was a very prolific sewer. So were some of my employees. We had embroidery club and sewing and quilting classes plus “Block Party”. I also had several company sewing representatives come to visit the store.  Guest celebrities Kathy Fox, Jewell Hullit and Pam Warren from Singer and Connie Martin from Janome, Patsy Shields from Sulky, Lisa Shaw from Buzz Tools, Margaret Tully from Baby Lock,  Eileen Roche from Designs in Machine Embroidery, Holly and Liz from Amazing Designs and more. The teachers were wonderful and always brought great ideas. That is why I am documenting the classes and samples, I can not remember all the names, there were so many.

Most of the sewing projects and seminars you will see were after my internet web site was developed in1995 and I found a good digital camera. I still use the same Nikon today. That means that this is only 1/2 of the total project pictures.  If you click on the gallery individual picture you can zoom in. (Remember earlier pictures were not as large so do not zoom well.) We use to sell a lot of sewn projects every summer at our yard sale to make way for new things.

If you remember the class or sewn project I also have a lot of sewing on Pinterest. If you have not done so, sign up for Pinterest.

I still sew small gift projects and try out new sewing techniques and embroidery. From 1982 until current day I have tried to capture most of my sewing projects for you to see. Most of these projects were on display at our store in the Twilley Centre in Salisbury, MD before we closed in 2008. I still have a closet full of ideas I show when needed to give inspiration. I now teach classes “one on one” at my home studio. For more information on classes try this link.
