Happy Holidays from Jenny’s Sewing Studio for 2021

I hope you have planned and at least started your Christmas sewing. My gifts are finished and wrapped. I now need to resist the temptation to sew more gifts. A quick review of 2021 at Jenny’s Sewing Studio has introduced me to a lot of new and exsisting beginner sewers and several returning sewers and quilters. I have enjoyed all the time spent with all of you. I hope I get to meet lots of new students in 2022 and I am ready to teach quilting to all eager to learn.

Here is one of my longtime students, Grace. She is holding a Christmas gift she made in class for her sister. The wall quilt was made from a preprinted panel and we added borders, quilted and bound the project. Gace liked the project so much she made one for herself and I made one for my sister-in-law for her birthday.

I wish to remember the glorious Fall we had and the beautiful trees. I only snapped one picture of a tree in all it’s glory while filling up for gas. The picture does not do the tree justice.

I will close with a picture of the Thanksgiving food. I have eaten so much in the last few days that I have decided to go on an extreme diet till at least Christmas.

I hope you enjoy the holiday season. I am planning a Christmas Party for my friends and so will end classes in about a week. If you are interested in taking sewing lessons in 2022 please email me about times available after December 16th. I may be looking at knee surgery and want to hear from the doctor before I make too many plans.

Have a Happy Holiday season!
