The New Year sure did start off with a bang. On Sunday we had a 70-degree day. I was able to take down my outside Christmas decorations, Ya! On Sunday night into Monday the weather went from warm to cold in a hurry. We had rain, freezing rain, sleet and then 6 to 7 inches of snow. If you live on the eastern shore of Maryland you know what I am talking about. Some places got over a foot of snow. Looks like I am stuck staying home for a few days so I will sew and clean.
Here is my latest sewing project, a Valentine table runner to go with my Valentine tree. I adopted the Christmas runner into a seasonal idea. You can make a table runner easily from strips. I used 2 1/2″ scrap strips and my serger to speed piece the strips. From my previous post you can follow the instructions on how to create this fun project or you can take a “one on one” class with me.
Stay tuned for more 2022 projects!
