Jenny’s Plans for Lap Quilting and classes for the September and October 2020 season

On September 15 2020 I will have spinal surgery. Right now I do not know if it will be a 2 week or 6 week recovery so I am making plans to move some of the lap quilting sessions to early September. I will list the session plans below and let everyone know after surgery if I can continue on with classes in October.

On August 20th the Sew Fly quilters will meet at 2-4pm to do the 9 patch Maple Leaf  and Ohio Star blocks.

On August 27th the Piecemaker class will meet at 2pm to work on the applique cardinal and the 9 patch blocks.

On Thursday September 3rd at 2pm I invite the Sew Fly and the Scrappy Quilter to learn the process of putting the quilted blocks together. ( You will need 2 blocks that are bordered and quilted to learn to assemble the Lap Quilt). I thought I would show you assembly now in case I am delayed some due to surgery) When we meet again I will introduce more quilt blocks to add to the quilt. In November we should be back to normal.

If you plan to come to a session please let me know and please let me know if you need a machine. Since I am at risk with surgery I ask everyone in class to wear a mask.

I look forward to seeing everyone!
