Spring always makes me want to create a brand new fabric purse. This year I created a basic pattern to teach at Hancock. I invite you to join me in class or you can print off my pattern and make your bag at home. This is a great beginner project so join in.
Fabric makes the bag, My display bag fabric came from Hancock fabrics at Salisbury. I am in the process of making a strip piece quilted bag in black and white as another option and will picture it when completed. Add decorative stitches and stitch out your name on your bag if your machine has the stitches built in. I am also planning a red, white and blue bag. Add dash to your wardrode with a brand new quilted bag.
The walking foot helps in the quilting process as does a chalk pencil.
Here is a link to my pattern and below are the dates for the quilted fabric purse. Call Hancock to enroll. Visit our local Hancock Fabrics at the Twilley Centre in Salisbury, MD to enroll or call 410-677-3461.
You are invited to quilt between 10-12 before each class if you are enrolled.
