On July 17th at 2pm we will create the Star Flower quilt block. You will need a dark, floral or medium and light fabric.
Prepare the Square B and Triangle H templates from the Lap Quilting block.
To prepare for our session you will need to cut:
Cut 4 B square of the dark.
When you draw the H triangle on the wrong side of the fabric follow the drawing on page 56 of the Lap Quilting book.
Here is the block layout:
Layer the dark and medium fabrics right sides together. Draw 4 H triangle on the medium wrong side.
Layer the dark and light fabrics right sides together. Draw 4 H triangle on the light wrong side.
Layer the light and medium right sides together. Draw 4 H triangle on the light wrong side.
We will sew the block together using the quick piecing method in class. See you there.
