Recently Singer has annouced a Windows 8 update to the XL Futura software! The windows 8 update has downloadable instructions I advise you to follow. The update will work on the XL-550, XL-400, SEQS-6700, SEQS-6000, and the Quartet (FQ-4) I have recently purchased a new Windows 8 computer and am planning to take a local community college course on the operation of the new windows system. I am getting the hang of the system but my navigation skills are poor on Windows 8 after 19 years of using the computer. I love skype, working on Windows live mail ( prefer my old outlook express), like being able to keep web addresses bookmarked by windows but am having a hard time finding my address book.Jenny
