More Sewing machine embroidery class projects for 2009 at Jenny’s Sewing Studio

I have finished serval of the class projects for the embroidery club seminars in February and March 2009. I hope I will see you in class. Here are the pictures and links for you to review.

The “Paisley table runner” was a favorite of mine. In this class you will make a 3-D paisley embroidery applique and a lace embroidery diamond applique for the center of the runner. Learn to use the wash away stabilizer and the sticky paper. We did a machine appliques and a machine scallop edge to finish. On Sunday do a fabric purse and wallet. The class will show you multi-hooping and zipper insertion plus much more. Take the Class on Saturday or take both classes that weekend.

The second project is the basket wrap and the placemat design. The embroidery session will give you time to do both. Sessions are all day and you bring your machine to class. When you enroll we will send you a CD of the designs and instructions for your project. If you attend class you will receive the stabilizer in class. Yes, you can buy the kit to complete the project at home.

The March session will offer the a Saturday class on the placemat and basket wrap. Your silver ware will fit nicely in the pockets of the placemat, the napkin will also fit in a pocket of the placemat or as a showy center piece in the basket as shown above. On Sunday we will offer another 3-D table center piece that can also be used as a quilt center. Learn to use the piping foot along with the built-in decorative stitches.
